Alexandra has previously co-facilitated (with the wonderful Allison Parker) a free monthly peer-support group called the Fat-Tea, which ran from 2022 - 2025.

Selkie Counselling frequently sponsors community events (THICK burlesque/drag shows by Brick & Lavender Productions, the Queer & Trans Farmer’s Market,& the Fat Pool Party, to name a few!).

Plus Size Clothing Swaps!

Selkie Counselling has organized 2 annual plus size clothing swaps (and plans to keep doing so in the future!) with the help of Oaklands Community Centre.

These events have been possible with the help of many wonderful volunteers, & community makers who have donated raffle prizes.
